This looks like mate in 6 instead of 5 to me.
Though in a real game mate in 5 occurring would be common.

1.Bxh7+ Kh8 2.Bg6+ Qh4 3.Rxh4+ Kg8 4.Rh8+ Kxh8 5.Qh5+ Kg8 6.Qh7# seems like six to me also.

Typo. Should be mate in 6. Not that hard for a puzzle, but I was pleased to find it in a blitz game. It is easy to overlook these tactics in blitz games.

Yes and form the looks of the position you saw it beforehand?

Not entirely, but I felt that black's position was so bad that I could sacrifice a piece if needed. I had worked problems with similar rook sacs, but I wasn't exactly sure if it would work here.

Any way, it was a fun real-time problem.

To me it looks like 5 Moves + 1 half-move ( or 11 half-moves). 😀
