It looks like KUKA totally outplayed him in the opening and got a rook up but Gris snuck in a perpet. Is that what it looks like to you? There wasn't much in the way of actually seeing the position, just his reactions.

There is one clear board shot, just before the end, but not sure if it ended in perpet or if the robot's clock ran out, because Gris jumped up like he had won. He probably would have been happy with a perpet too. Look at the position just before he jumps up from the table. There are a couple of clear board shots there, shows KUKA to be up a rook but the clock times weren't shown.
