Hi does anyone know of any famous games with extraordinary king walks, i seem to recall a Tal game and a Nigel Short game as well as a game that was played by two relatively unknown players in British India by some emissary or other, but i am unable to trace them at the moment. Any help would be most appreciated - thanks in advance Robbie.

I'm not sure if this is the type of king walk you were looking for, but extraordinary nonetheless.

Lol, yes, that's the type of thing, although i was hoping for a little more success from the person who takes the king for a walk 🙂

White would have mated in your great game with a queen-side castle which I think recalls a famous Morphy win.

Here's the Nigel Short game i think you were referring to.

Short vs Timman 1991

If at move 31 for white the task was

'mate for white in six moves'

Who could've envisaged that?
