I am very happy that Carlsen is around...because at some point I thought that all 2750 players are soooo good and it is almost imposible for them to lose, they play almost perfect drawish chess...but Carlsen proved me how wrong I was...and I like that Kramnik is beginning to realize the same...

i've realized the same pattern...esp. morozevich and ivanchuk, it seems like they aren't even trying anymore.

this is why sergey karjakin won the wijk aan zee earlier this year.

and he is barely 2700+.

Haha @ using those two as an example, they might not have been impressive in the last 6 months but they're easily the most entertaining top-20 members in the long term.
