Just resigned this as Black.

Although I am winning the Queen and the exchange (after all the captures
on a2 I have Nd3) the ending is totally lost. Game 10790545

This would have been good.

One time late at night I had a game to move in (at another site) I looked at the position, at a glance it was hopeless. I clicked resign and went to bed. I was about half asleep when I saw the position in my head, I had an idea. I went back to the website, and looked at the archived games and sure enough, I resigned when I had a forced win! It was a simple sac for a pawn promotion I overlooked in my haste, but saw it second hand in my head.😕
I told this to my long time chess pal. He said back in the postal chess days, he had a game and he signed resigns on the postcard and put it on his dresser to mail the next day. He went to sleep, then saw the game and the winning move in his head. He took the card, scratched out "Resigns" and wrote down the correct move and mailed it off.
Sorry to bore y'all to death. 😴

Post the position where you resigned when winning.

If you want to take a move back on here then re-set the date on your
computer to the day before you made your move.
Log back in and if your opponents have not made a move
then you will find all the moves you played.....unplayed.

Not many people know about this bug in the system.

You can also reset the date on your computer a few days ahead
so that you can see what your opponent is planning to do.

I used to play corr. chess also, and once, in very important game, and after I'd put the post in the mailbox, I suddenly "saw" it was a losing move. I was so upset by losing a game which I had played so nice (I think) so far, that I went next day to that yellow post box and waited for the postman. I planned to ask him to give me my post card. He never came. I lost my patience and returned to home. I saw later that my move was good anyway. I won this corr. game and consider it one of my best positional game ever. I have the score and I might put it here.

I wished to God I had it. The site was bought out and scuttled, there are no game archives. 🙁
