I'm not trying to promote another website, I am just asking if they have long time controls there? I looked but I couldn't find anything.

I went to the help section and didn't see anything about CC.
I haven't downloaded any software yet and I don't have an account there. Maybe that is the problem.

wormwood are the same systems which prevent people cheating on ICC at regular/blitz/bullets etc, in place with correspondence chess? When i used to play blitz as a guest i would sometimes see persons being called out for cheating and having their rating reset, or was that FICS, I cant remember.

I assume they use the same methods against cc cheating as with faster time controls. I mean, why wouldn't they, as engine use is prohibited in icc cc rules. excluding specific tournaments where engines are allowed.

"You can play both unrated quads and choose from a variety of rated correspondence events. Use of computers is not allowed in any official ICC correspondence tournaments except unrated quads started by the "CorrComputer" TD account. Read help cc-quads for more information."

mmm, its quite reassuring though that there is a specific real time mechanism. I wonder what it is?

I can't see how it could be done in real-time. but I assume certain behaviour gets flagged as 'suspicious' and then there's similar slower statistical analysis as here. then if sufficient evidence is found, the account gets tagged with a 'C'.

ok, thanks, really quite interesting. Thought it was in all in real time, but apparently there are not a few mechanisms in place.

ICC correspondence is pretty terrible. I have two online chess accounts--one there for blitz and one here for correspondence. I tried playing ICC for a little while but there is just nobody around.
