    Bc5? hangs the passed pawn. This is not an easy question, requires tactical vision to find the first move and chess knowledge to find the remaining moves. Vica versa.

    Bc5 was the first thing came to my mind as well but has a solid refutation.

    I'll give some time to let people think about before giving out any lines.

    There is one key characteristic of passed pawns that allows black to win in this position.

    As far as I am aware, no chess piece has characteristics. I don't understand what you mean. Any pawn moves the same way.
