Giving away your queen for a bishop and rook is not a good exchange. Protect your queen, retreat if needed.
One other thing, try Nc6 before playing Nf6 the next time you run into an early Qh5. Good job avoiding the huge error g6.[/b]

Hmmmm....... If White playes 2.Qh5 then I'm up for giving away (saccing)
my undeveloped Queen for an active Bishop and an exposed Queen.
I'm Black - a Skittles games in Bells.

1. e4 e5 2. Qh5 Nc6 3. Bc4 d5 4. exd5 Nf6 5. Qg5 h6 6. Qe3 Qxd5 {Played after barely a momen ...[text shortened]... er piece. I'm having none of that.} 18...Nxb2 19.Kxb2 Nd3+ 20. Kb1 Rb8 {Checkmate.}[/pgn]
My long but imperfect experience is that it is easier to win with the rook and bishop, and easier to draw with the queen, but it is everything else of the board (other remaining pieces, if any, and the number and location of the pawns) that determines the true relative value of each.
gp,
Chess rules can always be broken, as long as you have an understanding of why you are breaking the rule. It seems to me that people like Regi and myself require many levels of advancement before we could play at your level.
Each person needs to learn the lessons of his level before he is ready for the next. At least that's what I believe.

Once said this to a lad who unknown to me was a German candidate IM.
"Pick a square...Pick a sqaure..."
He hammered me and I drafted him into Bells (board 1) for a season.
We became great friends it was him who howled in complete disbelief at
the mess they made of the first 'My System'. (the two modern versions
are much much better).
The Bells boys prayed for someone to happen along and beat me
and often (much to my delight) offered my opponents advice.
In the given game it was just some lad who wanted a normal game.
The lad at first made to take my Bishop on c6 but was told by the mob.
"No...take the Rook...take the Rook." ๐
Here, where I played Nxb2.
There is 18...Rb8 (the boring way ) but I was playing to the crowd.
Think I said something like:
"That Knight on f4 is not doing nothing. Let's bring into the game."
Went over that game adding all the dangers of playing pub chess
doing the silly walks , daft voices and cracking jokes in a lecture hall
attended by about 150 players including a whole host of IM's and GM's.
Great to hear all that laughter coming straight at you.
(and the £50 for 20 minutes work was also good.)
