I keep meaning to take up 1.d4/c4 semi regularly to solve this but still havent got around to it (lazy me ) I tend to practice a lot against a good friend on playchess his style is totally the oppsite of mine, a lot of his candidate moves are things I wouldnt even consider but after a while Iv started to get to grips with how he sees positions and what he might play/plan in them. I think if people want to progess that they probably have to become a jack of all trades, although not really straying them their natural style too much they do have to understand others."
