Force ur opponent to a corner. If the corner square colour is the opposite colour of ur bishop, you have to go through like 15 moves of quadrant traps and all...

it teaches piece coordination and trains your board vision. if you can't do it off the bat (and nobody can), you're lacking on those areas.
Vipiu, I would love the opportunity to practice B+N with you.
Agnes, I dont know the link you are looking for but I think I have two good looks. I thought the Wikipedia's link was not bad here it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bishop_and_knight_checkmate . I would first read the section Driving the king from the "safe" corner to the mating corner and input the passive defense and active defense in your computer. Here is the link I learned from 2 to 3 years ago http://www.exeterchessclub.org.uk/Endings/matekbnk.htm
Right now I can win with this ending on CM 9000 and www.Chessmagnetschool.com's toolbox. Now to play another human would give me another element and their might be another computer that might make it harder. I will admit there are nuances I dont know about this ending.
But the way I learned to win with the computer is I leared two patterns and tested it out with CM 9000. One were the king does not run out of its rank and one were the king does.
I hope the links I put down helps or you find what you are looking for.

btw it might not be a bad idea for RHP to create some sticky threads that keep repeating (maybe in another forum?)
Here's the link to the B+N+K vs K Tournament thread, which has a link to the tutorial thread: Thread 39422
