Posting a game very simple. put it between [*pgn] and [*/pgn] remove asterisks,
leave no spaces. Notes going in between {and} again no spaces.
Use 'Quote' and copy mine to see how easy is.
5 minutes practice with 'preview before post' and you will be fine.
1. e4 e6 2. Nf3 {My pet line v The French, some good wins, some disasters.} 2... d5 3. e5 c5 4. b4 {All part of the plan.} 4... cxb4 5. a3 bxa3 6. Bxa3 Bxa3 7. Rxa3 {For the pawn sac I have rid Black of the French Bishop, have an active Rook...} 7... Ne7 8. d4 {...and a centre that cannot be challenged with c5.} 8... O-O 9. Bd3 {Threatening Bxh7+} 9... h6 {That stopped Bxh7+ but creates a weakness, which must be hit ASAP.} 10. g4 Nec6 11. g5 hxg5 12. Rg1 f6 13. Nxg5 {fxg5 then Qh5 and the fun begins.} 13... Qe8 {That stops Qh5, for now...} 14. Bh7+ Kh8 15. Rh3 {The game is lost, Black sportingly plays on till mate.} 15... fxg5 16. Bg6+ Kg8 {Not BxQ. Remember I wanted my Queen on h5.} 17. Rh8+ Kxh8 18. Qh5+ Kg8 19. Qh7
Under the post window, bottom left, a wee square box, tick that and you can
see what you post before you post it.
No limit I know of as length of a note but I like to limit to one line
which is quite challenging at times. If needs be I finish with...
..and carry on with the note after the next move.
