There has been a novel exchange. I predict a Rook ending appearing.

These PGNs never tell the full story. What you cannot see is that magnus9999 was in terrible time trouble. He was going out to dinner in 5 minutes and hadn't even got in the shower yet. Either that or electrodes on his nipples.

Way better than what those other two are doing over in India.

We puny mortals cannot understand the rarefied level of 😴😴😴😴😴....Damn, thought I could at least talk about it without the effects of viewing the games.

Well.. Anand is at a crossroads. He either has to go for broke... or just concede and play out draws and lose by as little as possible. Let's hope for the former... apparently he suggested that in his post game interview for game 8.

This is an interesting game. Would it be saying too much if I noted that Black seems a little weak on the light squares?

I think saying that would be OK.

If White is weak on the white squares he must strong on the black squares.
So Black is weak on the black squares yet perhaps strong on the white squares.

Carlsen's Queen sacrifice was interesting and certainly had the
live commentators buzzing.

If it was a trap then Vishy fell straight into it.
Vishy was possibly winning after the Q sac and relaxed towards the end.

Apparently Magnus's 2nd move (2.Na3) is a TN and was cooked up
by Carlsen team to avoid Anand's opening preparation.
(which was one cup of tea and five minutes watching TV.)

magnus9999 - vishyanand RHP 2013 (the lesser known world championship match.)
