This is a game I played in the King's Indian Defence, which I don't often play. Any analysis of the game or even one or two moves is most welcome.

you played it very well. first I thought taking that center pawn (fxe4) was bad move (giving white knight an excellent outpost) but seems like it worked. and this game proves that tactics rule.

Looks like his h3 let you break through his kingside defence. Looks like he fell apart a bit after that. But I agree with Jusuh - you played it very well and knew exactly what your aims were.

I thought white may have played Re1 with the idea of Bf1, but when the knight was played to f4, Rc1 was played instead.

11.Be3 doesn't look right, it loses a tempo if white decides to play Bxf4 or if black pushes f4, which is the usual case.

Probably just personal preference, but I like 12...Nxe2 followed by f4 and pushing the k-side pawns h6,g5,g4. Reasons being that white needs to evacuate the Nf3 knight in the event of ..g4, with e1 and d2 already occupied and that the Re1 serves little purpose in this position with the e-file locked.

h3 resulted in white's k-side being picked apart, Bxf4 seems like the better alternative.

Yes, I also thought His main mistakes were Be3 (capturing will lose a tempo) and h3 (weakens the dark squares on his kingside and makes the pawn harder to defend). I will post my analysis soon.

The normal move here is 11.Ng5 With the text, White will have to move the bishop twice if wants to take the dangerous knight on f4.

Opens a line for the bishop and rook, gives the rear knight a nice square and exchanged a flank pawn for a central pawn.
13. Nxe4 Bg4
A more forcing continuation would be 13...Nxe2+. Play might continue 14.Qxe2 Bg4 15.Bg5 Bxf3 16.gxf3 Qd7 17.Bxe7 Qxe7 with a close game.
14. h3
A bad move. This breaks up the kingside pawns unnecessarily. Better might be 14.Bxf4 Rxf4.

I think Black has the advantage at this point.

-Don't make unnecessary pawn moves around your king.
-Think about "routine" development before you make a move. Is it really a good move or is there better?

there were some good basics in there.....

A tempoary rook sac to win a pawn
a bishop sac to force mate...

it was a pretty finish

perhaps thats what he meant??
