Advice to some players.

I like to play the Petroff (e4, e5, Nf3, Nf6) as either White or Black...the exchange variation can lead to some interesting especially if White plays the following line (Cochrane Gambit):

e4, e5, Nf3, Nf6, Nxe5, d6, Nxf7, Kxf7. White gives up a Knight for two important pawns and the potential for a nice Kingside attack and possible mating attack if the game continues with d4, Nxd4, Qh5+.

Qh5 Bc4?hill billy attack isnt it?

Cochrane Gambit is interesting. Latvian IM Alvis Vitolinsh (1946-1997) have been played that with good results.

Unfortunately gambits (except Latvian gambit) is not for me 🙁

I would recommend not to be arrogant against opening which you dont understand. I mean not only unortodoux openings like Grob (1.g4) or Latvians gambit (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 f5), but also some classics openings (like French) which some people misunderstands, showing their arrogance and ignorance. 😠
