Also my preferred sorting order on my active games doesn't save when I leave the site. I have to re-sort it every time I re-enter the site.
This site upgrade seems not to have been implemented very well.
Back to the offering a draw problem. I have an active game that is obviously drawn but I can't get out of it without either of us resigning. Do i just keep moving until 50 moves or whatever forces the draw?

I think we used to be able to resign at any time, but you can only offer a draw when it is your move, and you have to make a move with the offer if I'm not mistaken.
Look this over for your game sorting problem. It may help...

I was happy with the old site format. I am not complaining.
I will get used to this new format. But I just don't understand
why it was necessary. Some people have said if it ain't broke
don't fix it. Others have threatened to close their accounts.
Was it because some people had difficulty with their phones
or their tablets? Or was there another reason?
I play on a Toshiba laptop. I don't play on a phone or a tablet.
Were there people experiencing difficulty on these devices?
Edit: My browser is google chrome and I have in there also IE 10.
Nothing ever stays the same.
Upgrades are neccessary in all computer programmes and having worked on computers for many years I find that they are nearly always better once all the minor bugs have been ironed out (and there's always going to be some.)
It's just a question of getting used to the new formats/settings etc.
The new site isn't even a week old yet!!!
Some people have no patience.
For my part, I now prefer the new site particularly some of the new features and filters.
The filter which allows you to view "my move" games only is especially useful.

My filter preferences don't seem to save either. pretty annoying to have to change my sort and filter settings every time I join.
Perhaps the public beta testing should have gone on longer. The first I heard of the imminent site change was the message that was put out on April 25th (I don't frequent the forums unless I have a specific reason).
I'm not threatening to quit, but I agree that the new site, while welcome for my part, still has some wrinkles to work out.
