I am reading a story
Is that the story about micro-waves being dangerous?
We are still waiting for a link to your story or that.
Does it exist or is it pure fiction?

Let me know if you get anything, or think about what I said when you do! 😉

Try wrapping something in tinfoil and throw it in the microwave as an experiment. See what happens! 😉

Back to literature:

I found a book on my bookshelf that I didn't know I had - 'En torghandlares död' (Death of a hawker), written in 1977 by Janwillem van de Weter. Quite good actually.

Thank you, I will try this book.
There is almost something Dickens-like in the way he describes the characters in this book (especially the tramp character Marvel).

'Den osynlige mannen' probably. I'm sure it has been translated many times, I hope I can pick the best. 🙂 I like what you said about 'being hooked from page one'.

Have just completed reading The President is Missing. James Patterson.
Quite well written, with inputs from Bill Clinton.
I was wondering if that was really worth picking up. I'll prolly try the Kindle edition.

Highly recommend reading The Invisible Man (if you haven't done so already).

A really enjoyable read. First paragraph and you're hooked.
I also recommend the 'other' Invisible Man, by Ralph Ellison.

I have just finished 'Ensam i Berlin' - Alone in Berlin - (Jeder stirbt für sich allein), the complete version by Hans Fallada - non-stop reading of this amazing, terrifying, sometimes humorous, realistic story about the ordinary-man hero, neglecting his fears and following his conscience.
