Many forum denizens (OP included) get thumbs down on all posts - content not-withstanding. Fun.
But what if there was one day a year where we could post any drivel or half-baked idea without repercussion? What if there was a Thumbs Immunity Day? One day where we don't have to see the public slap in the face for trying to participate in this milieu.
Maybe it is a bridge too far. Maybe it is beyond the pale. Maybe I just love irony (the greatest rhetorical device of the human condition) and can't wait to see how many thumbs down this idea gets.
I propose December 1 is Thumbs Immunity Day. It could be an annual event. Give your mouse a day off. Take the pledge. So far we have one:

Well we all look at things in a different way, if you get a thumb up or down it at least means people are paying attention to what your saying. That may or may not cut down on my thumbs down...LOL... I look at as my fan club following me around. I could pretty well name them but then that may be against the TOS and considered provoking people. π
As for your idea not bad, but can't see it happening although I've been surprised before. π
