@very-rusty saidI was once stuck at the top of a tree I had climbed as a kid. I think that's where I got my fear of heights. 😲 😢
I'll stick this back on top. 😉

@great-big-stees saidWhen you were stuck up in the tree how did you get down? Did a fireman save you?

@very-rusty saidMy dad came out after my younger brother told him of my predicament and he (Dad) stuck around till I managed to work my way down.

@great-big-stees saidSo your dad's solution was to let you work yourself out of the sticky situation you got yourself into...I think I agree with that!!! 😉

@very-rusty saidHe stuck around offering some advice about how I could work my way down and as I am still among the living he seemed to have succeeded though I must say I remained a "don't test the waters first" kind of guy till well into my 20s. 🙂

@very-rusty saidNo but I did, in my later 20's stick myself into the "marriage game" with somewhat the same results as my tree climbing but without help from dear "old" dad...who said, and I quote, "You made your bed, now sleep in it".

@great-big-stees saidNow that you have reached the highest branch, stick to it and don't look down - someone dear to you will catch you if you fall.

@torunn saidIt takes some (like me) a while to get the picture right...right? 😉

@great-big-stees saidGood marriages are like glue - sticky and reliable.
