Incredulous, in my opinion, that Denver is holding at +4.5 dog.
Off the top of my head, the only reason I can see for Denver getting 4.5 is San Diego coming off the bye, and even that's a stretch. I didn't see anything on the injury reports.

versus ending 2008. Over coverage = performance improvement and lag in bettor perception. SD's 2009 to date track record = -14.
Originally posted by FleabittenOh, I agree the line is ridiculous. I would lock up Denver this week as that D is gonna have a hard on to shut down the Charger offense after last year's embarrassing defeat at the end of the year.
True. But they also look very ordinary so far bthis season, while everything is going right for Denver. Not saying the streak's not a factor, but I still wouldn't expect a line higher than 3.5.

I assume you're playing the spreads with your picks?
I got the following dogs this week (straightup, no spreads): Giants, Chiefs, Cards, Bears and Broncos
though I like Denver and would think Giants and Bears have a shot.

seasons. Bear in mind that Denver was the disappointment in 2008.
