Why is there prune juice but not plum juice? Who said "let's wait until these juicy things shrivel up and become disgusting"?

the 'prune' has gotten a bad rep
it's considered an old persons drink
    used to relieve constipation
I buy plum juice to avoid the smile of the check out clerk
makers of the juice are more sensitive to this issue and are relabeling

What country do you live in? I've never seen or heard of plum juice sold in grocery stores.

Actually, I prefer to think that I cuffed you upside the head with a homonym. Whether it was "bad" is for others to say.
