i don't try to kill threads with one post. sometimes it just happens. i've done a few posts that i thought would generate huge responses and they never got any response at all. i have no explanation for the social phenomenon. it could just be happenstance.

I've done a few one-posters in my time, usually because I get a bee in my bonnet about something nobody else cares about.
