...or relatively new TV, I'm not sure exactly when these were screened:

Colony
Outsiders
Vinyl
Billionaire
11.22.63
Madam Secretary (series 2)
Happy Valley (series 2)

Any thoughts, likes, dislike?

Seen only Madam Secretary. Worth a try. Early episodes focus on her work, later ones more on her family.

I've seen the feature length "pilot" and it was well worth seeing. It reminded me a bit of Boogie Nights.

Dickensian
Halt & Catch Fire (series 2) series 1 was good.
Jekyll bAnd Hyde
Lucifer
Mad Dogs
Second Chance
War And Peace
Baskets

Don't bother with Jekyll And Hyde. (Seriously bad).

And move War and Peace to the top of your list.
