The Beatles. Bubble-Gum Muzak, over-played on the radio at the time, and now played only in elevators.

Ringo is a nothing-burger, can't drum for sh&t. And look what he did after the Beatles: "You're 16, you're beautiful, and you're mine"--pedo, much. Zero talent.

Look what McCartney did after the Beatles: "Silly love songs"--ear-worms for 13-yr olds.

OK, Lennon and McCartney could sing harmony--"I wanna hold yor hand", but so could the Beach Boys and the Everly Bros. "The Long and Winding Road"--sentimental pablum.

Lennon and McCartney held Harrison back (they referred to him as 'that kid w/the guitar' ). Best thing that happened to Harrison was the breakup of the Beatles, he did excellent work after that. "All Things Must Pass" and the "Concert for Bangladesh" were defining albums for the 1970s.

Lennon might have done something great after the Beatles, had he lived.

My Sweet Lord and While My Guitar Gently Weeps still give me shivers.

Agreed. Harrison was underappreciated while he was in the Beatles; he outshone them all afterwards.

Doctor : you have 3 minutes to live.
Me : play while my guitar gently weeps.
Doctor : but it's 3:36 minutes long.
God : it's ok.

I didn't like Springsteen's E-Street Band albums much. I think his ballad albums are much better.

My bro in law is a massive fan and keep trying to convert me, but I think Springsteen is way overrated.

Not a band, but I don't get Ed Sheeran.

U2
Kings of Leon
Killers
Foo Fighters
