When something odd occurs it is logical to assume there is some rational explanation, including random chance and coincidence; rather than some supernatural phenomena at work.

For example, if you are walking down the road thinking about Fred, turn the corner and bump straight in to said Fred (musical joke) this encounter is entirely coincidental, even if you haven't seen Fred for 30 years and last heard he was living in Kathmandu.

Everything has a rational explanation. (Excluding Robbie).
