@suziannesaid If your work was essential, you would have been at work this entire time, and not on lockdown.
I've worked every day (except weekends) throughout the lockdown.
Huck has clearly shown why he was unable to work., and why his work is in the Health sector and thus "essential".
I have the Privilege to wrok at Home-Office mainly, and can do my work without being essential (in the narrow Definition of the word during this crisis, in fact I do think that science is necessary).

Best of luck to you Huck, stay healthy.
But thinking about it, isn’t she correct?
“Essential workers” have been working all through the pandemic.

There is a difference between "essential worker" that she said, and "essential service". The supply chain counts as an essential service, but not all shops remain open. Car repairs is essential to the supply chain, but not all garages remain open.
How does a nurse with no car get to work?
Public transport. Does this mean the entire network remains open? No, services are curtailed but still essential to keeping things going.
Some people just like to piss on people's porridge, I get that. Snakes will always be snakes.
@divegeestersaid Suzianne has a fascinating life stories, street and barroom exploits which would make your hair curl. I’m betting she’s a vigilante paramedic.
