If the law allows it, which it does, I am all for it. The law does not allow open borders, Sonhouse. You seem to be cherry picking in the threads. I answered the Democracy question for you, which you would not answer. So, you answer for me, .....If aliens break through our borders, they are breaking our sovereign border law. Do you think that the breaking of that law is OK? Do you think it is OK for Biden to let it happen without lifting a finger?

Now do you see how hard it is to define democracy? It is a pretty word but brings hell with it. Why do you think that many Senate votes require a 2/3 majority? Just a question. You will find it impossible to answer, but no problem.

we have midterm elections coming up and the democrats seem to be a bit nervous.
They say things like "loss of democracy" if the Republicans take over the congress.

I'm sorry ? Are you once again telling us why AvJoe says what he says? We try to not get personal, but if you wish to 'tell us about AvJoe's 401k'", you should know that 401k's are not for everyone. Not for me. I have one, of course, but it is actually earmarked for a good cause. You must not know how all this works. Maybe this is why all y'all rave on about what the law likes successful people to be able to do. I do have some set up for my kids, though , but what has all this got to do with my kids?

The need for immigration reform centers on this issue. Because there are not enough documented workers, farmers rely on undocumented labor to fill 50% of their job openings. If Ron really cared about ridding his state of undocumented immigrants, he could start by enforcing laws at the farms in his own state.
