Voluntary health insurance, either granted by an employer as part of wages, or paid for by a citizen is not socialism. It is not mandatory as part of being in a society or nation. It is an individual choice, either to purchase, or to accept the benefit as part of compensation.

A better example of socialism is the public financing of roads and highways.
