Then how about throwing some of that money my way? In fact, I'll even say, "Thank You". In fact, I wont even be as greedy. I'll just ask for a cool million. After all, that's only about 0.00000000001% of our GDP, so I'm sure no one will miss it.

am no expert on macro economics so will listen to sh76 point view on this, but if your going to have ' fiscal stimulus' it seems a sensible way to go about it.... put money directly in consumers hands not through some govt sieve... in the UK there is a similar scheme for vans and i see no protest .
maybe of point but think there are two sides to this green debate
'Eco Marxists' Recycle everything, use each tea bag twice.. where jumpers n switch of ur heating... like some economic regression ... &
