This is JMHO - As London is slowly overtaking New York as the world's financial capital, afternoon tea is becoming the preferred business meeting setting. Tea rooms tend to be more unique, family owned, older, and slower paced than America's hard charging, caffeine driven, cookie cutter establishments like Starbucks. I'm praying this will catch on in America! (Was I born on the wrong continent?) 🙂
