Jimmy Carter was not a very good President. Despite his good intentions, he was a failure at international affairs. This is because his vision of how countries should govern, while admirable, was not very realistic. Carters inability to work with Congress also spelled trouble for him on the domestic front, and hindered Americas economic sutuation. Jimmy Carter was, and is, a good and decent man, But he was a naive and ineffective President.😏

Well, I'll agree with you here:
- His domestic policy was a failure
- His foreign policy was a failure
- He was an ineffective President.
But I have to disagree with the assertion that he is a good a decent man.
