Because they agree with 90% of the countries in Western Europe that the threat posed by an imperialist Russia is much greater than the temporary inconvenience of high energy prices / shortages.
Because Russia has brutally invaded a sovereign neighbour and began a medieval war on their 21st century doorstep you idiot.
