Nope. Mueller can set his staff up as he pleases; he regarded the allegations as a distraction, so Strozk was moved out of the investigation but he remains in the FBI. Firing him as you support would have been a violation of Federal law and his Constitutional rights; not that right wingers care about either of those things.

This whole Congressional farce is a backdoor attempt to obstruct Mueller's investigation. It's not going to work.

    Actually he can't fire Mueller.

And he can't fire Strozk for his political views either without violating the statute I mentioned.

Argue with a Harvard law school professor...
"If he wanted to, wrote Jack Goldsmith, a Harvard Law School professor and co-founder of Lawfare, Trump could then fire Rosenstein. In that case, the authority over Mueller would fall to the associate attorney general. In theory — and ignoring the political consequences of doing so — Trump could keep firing people until he got someone to follow through on an order to fire Mueller.
“That means it could go down the line until an assistant attorney general did not resign and instead carried out the President’s order,” Goldsmith wrote."

Sure, he could do that (though your links shows he can't fire Mueller); it worked out great for Nixon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Night_Massacre

It also possibly kept Robert Bork off the SCOTUS.

Well, that worked perfectly, then, seeing that there are Democrat party murder squads openly roaming the streets of Detroit and Santa Fe...

Seriously, you teabaggers need to learn not to use words you don't really understand.

So... why doesn't he? If the case is as clear-cut as you claim it is, why hasn't your hero put his enemies in jail yet?

Trump can most certainly effect his removal. You cling to a false view that he cant have him removed, be it directly or indirectly.

On the contrary, I hope he does just what Nixon did.

Trump is playing Meuller like a fiddle.
The entire Meuller investigation is a ruse, created by illegal actions by a corrupt FBI.

Somebody should tell Michael Flynn that; he's singing like a bird to Mueller to avoid a stretch in Federal prison. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/flynn-kept-fbi-interview-concealed-white-house-trump-n840491
