So the title of that article is SHOULD cities pay for sports, a question not an agenda.
Personally I don't give a rats ass one way or the other, there are way more important things going on right now, like the border crisis your orange jesus stopped even being debated on or X45 having to come up with half bil which isn't going to happen because he lied all along about being so rich, one day he says he is worth 6 billion and a few days later he is worth 10 billion, even that number pales compared to Gates, Bezos, Zuckenberg, Musk, and the rest of the REAL billionaires.
He doesn't even actually own half the buildings with his name on them, just leased so there is no collateral there. How does it feel to be religiously supporting such a loser? BTW, this half bil fine is just the start, there are a bunch more suites coming down the pike by capitol cops and others suing the hell out of your orange jesus also and may run that number up to closer to a full billion.

America has ~2 million farmers with a collective wealth of $3 trillion. So on average, farmers are millionaires.

Cash they have in bank does not bring them up to rich. Their equity in land is not so great, all mortgaged.
