Title: "No Sex Please, We’re Middle Class"

"In the discreet white-collar realm, men and women are interchangeable, doing the same, mind-based work. Physicality is suppressed; voices are lowered and gestures curtailed in sanitized office space. Men must neuter themselves, while ambitious women postpone procreation. Androgyny is bewitching in art, but in real life it can lead to stagnation and boredom, which no pill can cure."

I have long had an issue with "gender suppression" -- punishing little boys for being aggressive and little girls for not being assertive. I've never seen the reason for determining that "both sexes had it wrong" or that only a 50-50 blend of traits was acceptable -- a view that seems to have sprung fully-formed from the minds of PC social crusaders. And they seem to have won. The question is, "Is it right, or even advisable?"

P.S. I love that the author's name is "Camille" -- a completely androgynous name!

And here I looked at the title and just assumed you wanted to discuss FMF.

I totally agree, I believe the workplace should be as sexualized as possible.
