i just watched a Brit movie i'd never heard of until today, called The Hit. Starring Terence Stamp, Tim Roth, John Hurt, Laura Del Sol. Directed by Stephen Frears (Dangerous Liaisons). Tarantino and Guy Ritchie have both watched this several times over, I guarantee it. And Laura Del Sol is totally hot😛

Really, if you like the work of the afore-mentioned directors, check this out.

EDIT: in a way it reminds me of Takeshi Kitano's 'Sonatine'. Both quirky gangster flicks that mix violence and philosophy in interesting ways.

basically, Hurt and Roth are hitmen who are hired to kidnap a supergrass (Stamp) and bring him back from Spain to Paris, to face vengeance from those he grassed out. on the way, they also kidnap Del Sol for reasons i won't go into here.
