This one takes you back to house parties...about 230am, some people had gone home, some people passed out on the couch, you and a few of the last stragglers are hammered and just got through the last of the Sonic Youth, but it doesn't seem time yet to pull out the Mazzy Star, Neil Young, or Mad Season, so someone puts on Rhinoceros by Smashing Pumpkins off their 1991 "Gish" album and all is good...

This one brings back a few....

Just wish these guys had stuck with these kinds of songs and the Siamese Dream stuff like Hummer and Mayonaise. They seemed to be able to skirt that line between indie and mainstream rock but I think Mellon Collie crossed over into the mainstream junk (as far i saw it.)
