@moonbus saidOr the best is yet to come.
Ich stimme zu.
The correct thread title would have been 'is this MAGA's nadir?'
To which the correct answer would have been, 'you ain't seen nuthin' yet!'
@spruce112358 saidYup it's white knuckle time as people are unwilling to take a loss and believe instead that DJT will turn around. They never got the memo. That the market might turn eventually but not before it's burnt a hole in your account and left you bleeding.
That's what I've been saying - the previous company traded or was valued in the $13-17 range. The merger made plenty of money even before the IPO. And at $22.76, that's still up 70% from a year ago.
HOWEVER,
The problem is that the stock price currently looks like a skier heading down Mt Everest with no parachute!
@averagejoe1 saidDo they fear him because he is a principled man of substance or because he is a capricious loose cannon?
And the mind of Trump is known by 8no one, which is why Putin, Kim and Xi fear him.
@mchill saidThis is the kicker. This is proof positive of Trump's narcicism. Read Shav's post if you can't connect the dots Whatever Trump understands or truly believes, he has totally miscalculated the behavior required to be a President or ex. And him dragging the Presidency through a torrid version of a WWF challenge is something a majority of Americans will never validate. Trump has yet to realize that he is not bigger than the Presidency and that his behavior as a candidate provokes a deep cognitive dissonance even among his ardent supporters.
OK, please enlighten me (since you clearly know more than the rest of the people here) what are the reasons Trump might have to want to attack a judge who is presiding over this NY trial?
@shavixmir saidI agree but I think he's working with an outdated set of skills that worked very well for him, until the me too movement came along. The world has changed and no longer validates or enables his behaviour and the old dog he is, is unable to learn new tricks.
He’s a narcissist.
Everything is about defending his weak little ego.
A judge has power over him, and that is not possible (in his mind), so he lashes out, constantly bending truths and facts to suit what his ego needs.
It’s actually quite fascinating to see it play out like this. Most narcissists are quiet about it and just beat up their wives and the like.
@sleepyguy saidIf by useful skills you mean repetitive tasks that can be learned in half a day and can be paid for by a fraction of the living wage, then you've got that about right.
You are saying the right wing doesn't want people to learn useful skills?
@shavixmir saidIt's like every other bubble, when investors work out there's no true value underlying the stock, then people rush to the exits to get some value before the bubble truly deflates.
$26.61
I have no idea what that means.
I suppose trump will have shorted it somehow, so still ends up making money after the suckers who support him have lost all their earnings.
Or is that not a thing?
God knows.
