Which includes India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. That's three of the top seven countries by population. Not easy for anything to 'dwarf' that.

Why is the NFL rubbish?

It's a highly strategic game.
It's extremely physical.
It takes tremondous talent and mental acumen to play.
The league is run incredibly well.
The athletes are comparatively reasonably paid.
The season is the perfect length (only 17 weeks).
The playoffs are incredibly dramatic and exciting.
Going to the games is a great experience and always fun.

That's clearly rubbish. Cricket probably has more than double that in the UK. Each year about 300,000 cricket bats are sold in England and going by our club alone in which we have about 30 people and only 3 or 4 bought a new bat this year this would indicate about 2.5 - 3 million players. If you count the millions of people in India, Pakistan, and Bagladesh, where they're fanatical about it, the West Indies, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, not to mention the growing popularity amongst African countries like Kenya and Ghana, United Arab Emirates, Canada and a host of others now getting into it, it's clear that this estimate is a load of bollox. If you seriously believe that only 350,000 people worldwide play cricket you're even more retarded than I had previously thought.

What stupidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You think that for every 5 footballers in the world there is a dragon boat racer?

For every football player there are 4 volleyball players??????????????

These stats are a joke.

I don't think I know even one solitary person who plays volleyball on a regular basis.

It also rains a lot more in England so we tend to stay indoors more often.
