Well its possible, listening to music while trying to listen to people speaking is not
going to work well anyhow.
There is no rush for you to listen now, I just think if you feel strongly about the
issue you should listen to the views of fellow countrymen (fellow Texans no less)
who disagree, and do so in an articulate and well thought out manner.
Of course in this country we have no separation of church and state.
In fact we have a state religion, C of E.
Yet somehow we have much less problems of this sort than you do in America.
We're generally much more laid back about it.
That said, the occasional prayers I came across in assemblies and school ceremonies
were discomforting to sit through as a non-theist.
I imagine they were even less fun for differently religious people.
And one thing I really would like to ditch is the bishops in the house of lords.
Only country apart from Iran that has unelected religious leaders in government.
That aggravates me no end.
Fortunately that are a pretty tiny 'power block' of no real relevance but they still
shouldn't be there.
