No, that would be God. He doesn't want another tower of babel.

The Bible makes it clear in the Tower of Babel story that God does not want a unified human race. So it wouldn't make any sense for the Devil to be working for God and trying to create division.
Besides, much of the division in religions is caused by the multiple translations and interpretations available for the various religious texts. If God didn't want that he would have done a better job in his dictation. Certainly the translation problems is due to the multiple languages we speak which the Bible claims was Gods plan (due to the tower of Babel). Since the story is in the Old Testament, the Abrahamic religions must all have it as part of their philosophy.

Obviously a loaded question but it is because of Satan and his negative affects on religions worldwide that Jehovah would have a people for his name. Isa 12:4, Acts 15:14.

are you implying that Satan's trickery is more powerful than God's will?

where does it say that? not trying to be argumentative, but for clarification. I know Isaiah 14:12 mentions Lucifer (morning star) but a contextual reading leans more towards that reference being the King of Babylon.

Are you implying that just because a religion has Jehovah in its name, it cannot be under the influence of Satan?

Are you also implying that any religion without Jehovah in its name is under the influence of Satan?

Is it your position that any religion without the exact same teachings as the JWs is under the influence of Satan?

It is possible he drives people when they like their sports teams to
the point of really hating others who favor other teams, so yes religion
and everything else that drives people apart is something he would
had a hand in. I also don't believe he can do by himself, but he as
a hord of demons to assist in his efforts.

I'd say you don't grasp it well if that is all you think was going on then.

He doesn't want a unified human race if it is unified under upon the
wrong foundation, being unified all by itself isn't a good or bad thing.

Would not those who have the idea that all religions other than their own are influenced by Satan tend to drive them apart?

Why limit it to all but your own, it isn't like everyone isn't under some
type of spiritual assult in or out of religion, even Jesus had to deal
with Satan's assult on the truth.

Well if being unified is not inherently good, then being divided is not inherently bad, so why does everyone seem to attribute division to the Devil?
If humans are not currently on the 'right foundation' then would you agree that it is entirely conceivable that God is continuing to cause division?

Are you implying that the teachings of all religions have been corrupted by Satan? If not, which ones do you believe have not been corrupted?
