I have read many, many posts from sonhouse.

He makes sense from a non Christian point of view.

    Prove him wrong.

If sonhouse would care to contribute a question, that would be great.

    Point #1?

If sonhouse asks a question, you expect to prove him wrong? I guess I don't understand what questions are.

When you see a photo of piles and piles of corpses in a Nazi concentration camp, where was God?

The usual response is that was man's free will, and takes God off the hook.

But, God says He loves us.

    Ghost,

I believe in God, but His absence is a mystery.

What are the characteristics of the God in which you believe?

I will sadly say that I don't know.

I have doubts about the validity of the Bible.

I believe in a creator, and call Him God, but I don't know Him.

Then what is the basis of your belief?

    That God is there.

Those details seem to be unknown, and guessed.

What I'm trying to understand is what is the basis of your belief that " God is there".

Well, unlike Ghost and twitehead, I am not foolish enough to believe that creation came from nothing.

I don't believe creation came from nothing.

    I don't believe in creation.

(It is humans who require a beginning and an end. I don't believe the universe works that way).
