God apparently quite likes damning major civilisations, especially ones with empires. Didn't seem to get to the Brits though. Either he likes us, or is still waiting in line for us to process his application.

God doesn't change His mind, but He does change what He is doing.
We are living in the age of grace now, but when it ends God will poor out His wrath on all Godlessness.
I realise how ridiculous that sounds to you, but that's what the Bible says.

So it is not particularly unreasonable for a pastor who believes that the age of grace is nearly over and who sees the US as being riddled with Godlessness to ask God to 'poor out His wrath' on the US.

Britain was subject to creeping damnation. Now all the bits are falling off. Scotland next!

I know God well enough through His gift of the Scriptures, yes. He is not inexplicable--the Bible vever says that.

For example. I have a hard time understanding that book. Help me out.
