God apparently quite likes damning major civilisations, especially ones with empires. Didn't seem to get to the Brits though. Either he likes us, or is still waiting in line for us to process his application.

    That doesn't answer the question.

Do you read the Bible? Is the message of God today a message of damnation?

There is plenty of damnation in Revelation. Has there been a more recent installment?

Does God change his mind frequently? And what would be the point for an omniscient being?

Presently God is extending His grace to all who will believe. But when this age ends God will resume prophetic events as described in revelation.

God doesn't change His mind, but He does change what He is doing.
We are living in the age of grace now, but when it ends God will poor out His wrath on all Godlessness.

I realise how ridiculous that sounds to you, but that's what the Bible says.

So it is not particularly unreasonable for a pastor who believes that the age of grace is nearly over and who sees the US as being riddled with Godlessness to ask God to 'poor out His wrath' on the US.

Britain was subject to creeping damnation. Now all the bits are falling off. Scotland next!

I know God well enough through His gift of the Scriptures, yes. He is not inexplicable--the Bible vever says that.

Dispensationalism is not Biblical--don't worry about it.
