Evolution is responsible. All animal behaviour is explainable via evolution. And evolution remains the best explanation. If you think you have a better explanation then feel free to present it. You will either find that we can point out problems with your explanation, or that you are deserving of a Nobel prize for Biology. Its worth a shot.

A blessing is some action that brings good fortune. It does not necessarily have to be an action from God, but it is often associated with an action from God.
