01 Mar '15 04:10>
Exercise your spirit to pray out to Jesus Christ.
You have thought and thought and thought.
Now is the time for you to exercise a deeper organ - your human spirit.
Exercise your human spirit to draw forward to God.
God is FAITHFUL.
Come into His courts with thanksgiving.
Enter into His gates with praise.
Exercise your spirit to reach out and touch Jesus Christ with your innermost being in honesty.
Sometimes the praying one does not know what words to use. To even GROAN "ABBA FATHER. ABBA FATHER" Holy Spirit will enter in and bear witness so that you have a deep intuitive sense that you are being heard by the heavenly Father.
"Moreover, in like manner the Spirit also joins in to help us in our weakness, for we do not know for what we should pray as is fitting, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to God." (Rom. 8:26,27)
This verse is about the exercise of our human spirit to groan, not having the words to utter what our thought is. But the Holy Spirit is crying out to the Father according to God, knowing what is deep within our hearts and what is deep within God too.
"O Father. O my Father. O ABBA Father." is a kind of groaning. It can be a real exercise of the spirit.
Here again - "And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father." (Gal. 4:6)
This is so much sweeter than wandering around in the wilderness of the fallen mind wondering if God exists or not. This is drawing close to the Father - intimately in reality. Abba is like Daddy. It is an intimate term of a close relationship.
This is not just "Does God exist? What argument proves that God exists?"
This is exercising the spirit with God's corresponding FAITHULNESS to respond.
God says - Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you.
James 4:8
The redemption of Christ qualifies us to draw near to a holy and righteous God that God may in turn draw near to us.
