That's odd. Numerous times throughout the interview, in fact right at the very beginning, the subject asked the interviewer if he knew what he, the subject, was saying, and not once did the interviewer respond in the negative and request clarification.

I thought the interviewer thought that it was more of a statement of fact 'you know what I am saying'; and possibly politely declined to ask for clarification; in light of that fact that the overall implication was clear enough?
