And incidentally, there is absolutely no need for the agnostic to 'make a decision' on this matter prior to death. Why do you believe this is so?
The atheist is like the child that makes the decision that he does not
want any ice cream. So both the atheist child and the agnostic child
leave the shop without any ice cream. The believing child is the only
one that gets to enjoy the ice cream because he made that decision.

Or perhaps the theist is the child, accepting without question when he is told that vanilla is the best sort of ice-cream.

I think both the Theist and the Atheist have a belief about the universes having
in it God, gods, or lack of Gods. The agnositic may have an opinion, but does
not care enough one way or another to state it, I guess they think if they do
not declare they can not be made to give a reason for what they do think is
true. Which I suppose is easier to say you cannot prove it one way or another
than to say I think some view is true and no you could be wrong or made to
defend it. I prefer to talk to either the Atheist or Theists, agnostics in my
opinion are like moderates who are in my opinion the don't bother me I'm
thinking types, they do not want to declare so they don't, they are the luke
warm among us, the middle of the road people.

The truth always is somewhere in the middle. Moderates can see both sides. The extremist on the far right or the far left cause the trouble because of their radical views. When it comes to God and claiming to know what that is all about it has to be based on pure hunch or blind belief in some book or the other. When it's impossible to actually know something for certain how can you be anything other than an agnostic ?

Extremist period can be problematic, but that still doesn't mean that being
in the middle of the road is a good thing. If you are not standing for something
you falling for everything, so I'd much rather be around someone who is left
leaning or right leaning than someone who is just there.

As far as God is concern, the only one you should worry about is God, not any
person be they Thiest or Athiest.

    Everyone is a believer. 😛

An atheist believes there's no God. :'(

An agnostic believes he doesn't know. 🙄

    A believer believes. 🙂

Yes, another possibility, since we all know vanilla is the best.
But one may always add a little chocolate syrup if in the mood
    for a change.

Glad you brought that one up, hadn't heard that before but it fits my mind very well. Religion is irrelevant, should be irrelevant anyway. The fact that religious people MAKES it relevant in religious war after religious war is not the result of a god but men trying to assert dominance, over people and especially over women. That is the long and short of it.

Even an atheist leaves the door open. Or, at least, most of them do.

You see, what you do is you look at all the evidence.
You check what seems like the most logical conclusion.
    And you go with it.

In that respect, there's not a chance in Hell that God exists.

However, should God stick his finger up my arse and say: "I do exist!"
And psychotherapy claims I ain't ill... then, yeah, logical conclusions will lead to God existing and, presumably, a big pot of KY jelly.

So the truth is halfway between "not it isn't" and "yes it is"?
    Please explain.
