It would be nice to have an auto message sent when you have a skull up, but I guess it would be the same as someone else telling you that your opponents flag had fell (ran out of time) eh.

And another auto message when you can win against your opponent in a one-move mate, or a two-mover, perhaps even a three-mover. These moves should automatically set in the conditional moves so you don't even have to perform them yourself.
SG's idea of an auto Skull option would be a good addition.
Recently in the Chess Forum players have been saying they have been getting
grief from Skulled opponents.
Also it's not uncommon for some lad to come on saying they see a skull but are
in two minds if they should claim the game or not.
If all tournaments games were automatically given a time out win then this
would not happen.
Friendlies (no such thing) and challenges can retain the skull option.

Are you saying there should be an auto-skulling to prevent people from having to choose between skulling or not skulling?
Oh the horror, when players get an option to skull. Should they do it or not? Probably results in alot of sleepless nights...Yup this choice should defenitly be made by a rhp-autoskulling thing. [/sarcasm]
Seriously tho. This site is a chess site. The main focuss should be to play a good game of chess. Not to see how fast you can outskull an opponent when he just ran a little bit out of time. Im dissapointed in you greenpawn, for not seeing it in the same way🙁
Besides that, tournament games already have an auto-skulling after the skull is up for two days.

I like his idea also!
You do know on a certain chess site the time out is automatic, no skull, no message, you run out of time you lose automatically.

i really don't see the problem the way it is now. in otb when you see your opponents clock has ran out you say and you win the game. why should it be automatic here? you see it, you click it, you win. simples.

Auto would be more usefull to those who actually are here to play chess, and have heavy game loads.
Sorry to see the lobotomy didn't work for you. Probably one of the reasons, they are rarely used now.
It always amazes me how the people who play the least amount of chess have the most to say about it.

Yeah...you can also make illegal moves in OTB, and the opponent has to make a claim to get it nullified.
Should we remove legality checking from the RHP interface? 😵
