Could anyone please enlighten me as to what a "siege" is, here on RHP; i don't find any explanation in the help menu for that?

Siege is a format that is now retired. Winner stays on (at the board), basically.

Yeah, they're on top and others and in line to challenge them. A bit like the ladders I think

When Russ says the format has been retired he means it no longer exists.
No one was using it apparently
