Ah, just like Trump's phone call to Zelensky, a PERFECT phone call. Sure, perfect for a mob boss.

@sonhouse saidInvestigations are bad? You must think Biden is dirty if you oppose an investigation into him and his son. If he wasn't dirty you would be all for it.

@metal-brain saidThe Merriam Webster dictionary defines the noun conspiracy in terms of the verb conspire. Its definition of the verb conspire specifies that the collision must be illegal or wrongful. The Oxford definition is identical.
No, you are using the legal definition. Legally you cannot charge a person with conspiracy unless they break a law. That is not the true definition of conspiracy. Notice the definition from Merriam Webster. It says nothing about a requirement for an illegal act or even harm.

@deepthought saidWrongful is not always illegal.

@metal-brain saidI did not claim that it is. However, it is difficult to reconcile the word wrongful with the words "surprise birthday party".

@deepthought saidWhat does a birthday surprise party have to do with what we were talking about? Didn't you bring it up because you falsely claimed it had to be a crime?

@metal-brain saidI introduced the "surprise birthday party" in the seventh post on page ten of this thread to demonstrate the problem with your ludicrous interpretation of the word "conspiracy". There is a complete record of the discussion available to anyone who cares to check back, you'd be well advised not to attempt to misrepresent my or anyone else's position in quite such a clumsy fashion.

@deepthought saidFine, a surprise birthday party is not a conspiracy unless they know the person hates surprise birthday parties.

@sonhouse saidTrump???
@Metal-Brain
He WAS investigated several times. You just follow the Trump misinformation campaign right to the end, which will come in November.
Trump is DUPING you and all the rest of your ultrarightwingnut buddies. You are being played and you don't even know it and would never in a million years even acknowledge it.
@sonhouse saidThey used to say it was snakes and now they claim it was bats or some wild cat. They do not know.
@Metal-Brain
You jump on anyone touting conspiracy. This is just the latest one. It has been shown this virus came from bats, transmitted to snakes and snakes are a delicacy in China and thence to humans.
Bats started a number of nasty viruses including ebola so play your games if you want but the reality is Covid-19 is natural.
