This seems like the dumbest idea to have come along in years🙂
Getting to 1/10th the speed of light? in 2 days? Well, 1 day
even if the 'train' is going that speed, the cars still have to accelerate up to that velocity to catch a ride.
A craft accelerating at 1 g for 3 days and then decel for 3 days gets there in 6 or 7 days but 2 days at that rate would take something like 3 g's for the whole trip, half way accel, rest of the way decel.
I think they have been eating too many magic mushrooms.
